Over the past 20 years, Horrocks has been involved in the estimating, design, and construction management of fiber optic communication projects. Having started out doing the design of fiber optic networks, Horrocks has managed various fiber optic projects for public agencies and private telecommunications companies, several of which have included public/private partnerships.

 

Building upon a strong foundation of telecommunication expertise, Horrocks now has a staff of nearly 100 dedicated telecommunications team members, and has now completed over 100 fiber optic and 1,000 wireless construction projects in multiple municipalities in rural, suburban, and urban areas throughout the United States. Horrocks’ duties have included full engineering, environmental clearances, and as-builts, as well as GIS map creation and documentation. We have procured thousands of permits for utility pole attachments, aqueduct crossings, existing shared conduits, railroads, and others.
